Material Handler

Material Handler positions open for 1st Shift at Staffmark On-Site at Flextronics in East Plano, Texas. 

 

Job Description: 

?  Responsible for receiving incoming material, which includes ensuring that materials are received according and correctly to departments in a timely manner. 

?  Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods to appropriate departments within facility. 

?  Adhere to company policy, practices, procedures and safety / security requirements. 

?  Through use of pallet jack, forklifts to move material to/from warehouse areas. 

?  Separating boxes and counting, verify documentation that matches physically items. 

?  Receive material and verify documentation to match receipt. 

?  Maintain files and documents (BOL, packing slips). 

?  Utilize computer terminals in resolving receiving discrepancies in system. 

 

Experience: 

?  Maintain documentation on spreadsheet, customer service oriented, possess good written and verbal communication skills. 

?  Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

?  Work with computer system for receiving data entry. 

?  Basic computer knowledge required; knowledge of Baan highly preferred. 

?  Must be able to lift at least 20 to 50lbs. 

?  Needs to have at least 1-2 years previous experience in receiving dock area or warehouse experience.  Basic computer knowledge required; knowledge of Baan highly preferred.
