Material Handling Team Lead (Assistant Mgr.)

Actively support the home delivery operation and any and all functions required by the unit within their designated market area. Daily execution of all 4-wall material handling processes.

Qualifications
* Under the supervision of the MDO manager, will assist MDO manager in the selection, training and retention of material handling associates.
* Directly responsible for the proper handling of all inbound/outbound freight as it relates to transportation, unloading/staging and shipment of customer/store replenishment merchandise.
* Implement and insure daily execution of WPI standards through continuous training, monitoring and evaluation of M.H. associates. * Possess the ability to develop a working knowledge of internal systems that support the MDO/direct delivery channel.
* Maintain the building and equipment insuring that preventative maintenance programs are in place, and loss prevention/security policies are adhered to.
* Accountable for building and maintaining a strong team relationship with delivery personnel.
* Responsible for the operation of the unit in absence of the MDO manager as it relates to human resource, operational, and customer service issues.
