Responsibilities:

? Plans, Directs, &Controls the pickup &delivery operations in the terminal areas

? Determines order in which freight is moved, makes tractor assignments, sets delivery schedules &works with customers to resolve delivery &pick-up problems

? Lead a workgroup of drivers to achieve improvement, desired performance goals & results

? Train & develop associates

? Ensure a safe, healthy work environment

? Keep associate morale at a high level

? Assist drivers in their daily activities

 

Requirements:

? Bachelor?s Degree or comparable business experience

? 2-5 years of supervisor and/or dispatching experience in the LTL industry preferred.

? Able to multi-task

? Excellent Customer Service skills and professional demeanor required

? Basic computer skills

? Effective planning and organizational skills
