OTR Driver Recruiter

 DESCRIPTION

ICON Transportation Co., Inc. is an employee-owned, growth oriented company providing first-class, value-added transportation, logistics, and fulfillment services. Summary: Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and refer job candidates for OTR job openings by performing the following duties.

 

Duties: Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skill. Develops recruitment programs to attract OTR drivers. Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. Initiate contact with possible qualified candidate. Review applicants and interviews applicants to obtain work history, educations, training, job skills, salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position. Screen and refers candidate for additional interviews with others in organization. Write and place job advertising in various media. Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates. Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates. Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential candidates. REQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years transportation experience in related position.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Familiar with DOT, rules and regulations.
Previous driver recruiting experience.
Travel -- 75% + Road Warrior
