We are seeking candidates with dynamic personalities who would excel in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate would have 4+ years of Ocean Import experience, strong work ethic, positive attitue and a leader.


 

Responsibilities:

 

- Route and rate shipments for international import.

- Quoting customers using international ocean import tariffs.

- Maintain customer standard operating procedures.

- Ability to recognize a hazardous material shipment.

- Ability to read a letter of credit (not mandatory)

- Schedule pick-ups and deliveries within the U.S. and overseas.

- Process HAWBs, MAWBs and other related documentation. 

- Other related duties.

 

 

Requirements:

 

- 4 years international ocean import experience.

- Knowledge of rules and regulations of different countries, knowledge of all customs forms for imports, knowledge of a shippers commercial invoice. 

- Ability to read an international airway bill. 

- Excellent communication skills.

- High level of initiative; self starter who can work well under pressure

- Must be PC literate. International AS/400 skills a definite plus.
