Operations Manager - Charleston, SC

TMSi, a national provider of 3rd Party logistics services and named by Inbound Logistics as a?Top 100 3PL Provider?, is seeking an Operations Manager to head operations in the CHARLESTON, SC area.

This individual needs a minimum of 5 years experience managing distribution, preferably including high-speed sortation. Successful candidates will have strong organizational and team leadership skills.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and who has the ability to build and maintain a successful distribution center. The right applicant will be self driven, hands on, people oriented and an excellent communicator. The successful candidate must be available and willing to work variable hours, overtime and weekend hours as required and must pass a background check and drug and alcohol test.

The ideal candidate needs experience in the following:

* Experience with a high-speed small parcel sortation system (or similar postal systems)

* Safety orientated leadership.

* Experience in all aspects of warehouse and transportation operations.

* Success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting.

* Proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Analytical skills to evaluate, report, select and implement cost effective warehousing solutions.

* Ability to update and submit reports/data in a timely manner.

* Related Associates or preferably a Bachelor's degree

* BI-LINGUAL in Spanish a Plus
