 Description

GENCO has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager for our Distribution facility located in Henderson, N.C. Facility 24/7, is 198,000 sq ft with 50 teammates.

The Operations Manager is responsible for:
Directing the operational aspects of the facilityEnsuring/reinforcing the GENCO teammate culture is being fostered in the facilityAssuring the attainment of facility production, quality and safety objectivesReviewing and assuring the accuracy of required production and inventory reportsCoordinating and conforming with the operational aspects of GENCO Core Excellence Program and audit regularly to ensure full compliancePlanning, monitoring and managing actual performance against operational portions of the budget; this includes, but is not limited to, proper management of departmental staffing levels, overtime and overall operational headcountKnowing and evaluating operational productivity goals, monitor daily and ensure goals are achieved on all shiftsLeading operational initiatives to ensure inventory accuracy goals are metEnsuring shipment and loading accuracy on all shiftsProviding assistance to the General Manager on special projects as required



 Required Skills


The successful candidate will have:

At least five years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a large, high volume logistics environment; demonstrated leadership qualitiesExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritizeExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with GENCO customers and teammatesStrong analytical abilities Previous team building experience a plus but not requiredPrevious budget planning and P/L exposure a plusExpert knowledge level of Word, Excel and PowerPointA degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or other related operations discipline (preferred)
