Operations Supervisor

TNT Logistics North America is currently recruiting for a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor in their Miamisburg, OH location. 

 POSITION PURPOSE

Coordinate and professionally manage the day-to-day sequencing operation of the warehouse for TNT. Responsibilities include proper placement of staff, administering discipline, maintaining quality performance objectives and assisting in cost control programs. Well versed on safety and compliance issues and provide operational support for contract.

 



 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

?  Provides instructions to hourly employees on proper sequencing of material. 

?  Monitors employee productivity and quality of work. 

?  Ensures quality workmanship of assembled parts and sequenced parts. 

?  Ensures employees are following proper work instructions in their assigned areas.

?  Responsible for housekeeping in assigned area. 

?  Ensures employees are provided with appropriate tools to complete assignments. 

?  Provides effective training to employees in proper material handling and work methods. 

?  Counsels and uses progressive corrective action processes when disciplining employees. 

?  Remains current with part changes and operating procedures within assigned area.

?  Provides clear concise written and vernal communication to all personnel. 

?  Ensure timely delivery of parts to customer.

?  Performs all other duties as assigned by  Manager.
