Operations Supervisor (Transportation / Warehouse)

We are a well-established, Food Warehouse Distribution Company servicing the world?s largest Quick-Service Restaurant chain.

Seeking experienced front-line Operations Supervisor with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Candidate would ideally have previous multi-temperature warehouse experience and have successful previous safety program accomplishments.

 

Operations Supervisor (With Transportation or Warehouse Distribution experience)

?  H.S. Diploma

?  Minimum 1 year current supervisory experience managing people and processes and/or 2 years warehouse/transportation experience.

?  Must be a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who is a team player, yet able to work independently when necessary.

?  Must have exceptional problem solving and communication skills, be detail oriented, creative, and have strong organizational skills.

?  1 year personal computer experience with basic knowledge of Windows 95 and MS Office.

?  Knowledge of transportation functions (Dispatching-Drivers-Maintenance of Tractor/trailers) and DOT regulations.

Preferred

?  College degree

?  Knowledge of automated payroll systems (Kronos), on board computers (XATA), and automated routing systems

Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, AND D.O.T. Regulations.

?  Supervise daily operations, establishing an environment that maximizes employee involvement and morale.

?  Planning and scheduling manpower and equipment

?  Ensure quality standards and productivity goals are achieved for receipt and shipment of product.

?  Ensuring safety and sanitation standards are maintained.

?  Any other duties as assigned.

?  Act as coach and facilitator of people

Must be available to work any shift, and any day of the week.
