Rite Aid Distribution Center

 

The Rite Aid Distribution Center located in Poca, WV is currently accepting applications for the position of order selector.  Essential duties, responsibilities, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following:

 Read pick tickets or pick displays to see what items need to be shipped.Pick the item from the pick slots and pack it in a tote/box for shipment to the retail stores.Secure the tote/box with a tie and place it on a conveyor belt to the shipping department.Pick up plastic and cardboard scraps in the area and place them on the trash conveyor belt.Push/pull tote stacks from general tote area to staging roller area.Tip tote stacks and drop stacks to the floor.Pulls specific product from boxes on the product racks based on the order label.Open boxes with a box cutter to retrieve product and places product on a cart.Based on order label, pull boxes on pallet toward front of pallet.Unload boxes/totes off trailers by hand or with hand jack.Minimum eighteen (18) years of ageAbility to pass drug test, background check, dexterity test, IPCS physical capability evaluation.Ability to work overtime on a frequent basis.Ability to work any shift(s).Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.

 

All applicants are required to have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Starting pay will be $11.95 per hour that includes a comprehensive benefit package after ninety (90) days of service.  Interested applicants should apply in person at the Security Station.
