P&D SERVICE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing the efficient sorting, delivery and package handling processes within prescribed time frames. Will direct and lead a group of Package Handlers and ensure proper handling of packages. Provides communication and feedback to direct reports and upper management. Responsible for training, safety, retention and productivity/service goals. Must have the ability to manage in a "hands on" physical environment and the flexibility to work varied hours.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS Degree 2+ years work experience (transportation/distribution industry preferred) Prior leadership/management operations experience Excellent leadership & communication skills
