PVD - Ramp / Passenger Service Supervisors, Trainer Positions

We are currently accepting resumes for RAMP and PASSENGER SERVICE SUPERVISORS and TRAINER positions to support our continued growth at the T.F. Green International Airport.  Eligible candidates must bring:  3-5 years of progressive experience supervising or managing aviation ground handling and/or customer service operations, experience with narrow body aircraft, well-developed leadership skills, and a proven track record of providing safe and reliable service.

SUMMARY:  Responsible for overseeing direction of a variety of aircraft ground handling services including, but not limited to narrow body ramp, baggage and cabin cleaning services, GSE maintenance, and customer service functions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

? Understands contract requirements and customer expectations. 

? Supervises the use of people and equipment to efficiently complete the tasks as directed and within established company standards. 

? Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures by assuring that established procedures are followed through on, at all times, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment for our customers and their planes, as well as our employees.

? Interprets and communicates to employees items that are in question in the manuals and/or company policy.

? Monitors and/or conducts required training of personnel.

? Conducts employee performance evaluations.

? Provides employee counseling and discipline as needed.

? Ensures the security of all company funds, supplies and equipment. 

? Maintains working relationship with customers and provides prompt response to service requests.

? Assures that all GSE maintenance procedures are done on each shift.

 

BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:

? Three to five years related experience of ground handling and/or passenger service of commercial or military aircraft.

? One-year minimum experience handling narrow body aircraft.

? Familiar with GSE maintenance procedures.

? Previous supervisor experience a plus.

? Individual must possess a valid driver's license and have maintained a safe driving history.

? Demonstrated leadership skills in the work place required.

? Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions is required.

? Computer skills required - Passenger Service positions require knowledge of the airline passenger service computer system.

 

LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:

? T.F. Green international Airport (PVD)

? Specific shifts to be determined

? Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.

? Some travel required
