Package Technicians

Orbit Logistics, incorporated in 1984, is family owned and headquartered in Richmond, VA. Success has been built on our ability to adapt quickly to our customer?s needs by providing efficient and expedited distribution solutions.

Currently, we are looking to hire additional Package Technicians in response to our growing business:

Position Description:

Responsibilities include the physical tasks of shipping, receiving, and distributing of various items that we manage for our clients. Verify inbound freight against purchase orders, maintains records of inbound and outbound activity. Picks and Packs orders. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Will also perform light assembly and kitting for certain clients.

Certifications

Forklift Certification preferred but Orbit can provide training

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform light duty lifting
