Production Coach

 

Lowe?s Regional Distribution Center in Perris, California is looking for a Production Coach for its 1,250,000 square foot facility, which distributes products to its west coast stores. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, team player who is currently working in a high volume, fast paced, multi-shift operation.  This position requires extensive knowledge of product flow through the distribution center. Candidate must have demonstrated communication skills, the ability to interact positively with co-workers and management staff, and problem-solving skills.  This is a demanding position that requires a strong leadership background.  The ideal candidate should have a bachelor?s degree, and 2-3 years experience in high volume fully automated distribution or manufacturing.  Some of the duties will include:

 

?  Responsible for the daily supervision of 40 ? 80 Production Team Members working with engineered standards.

?  Works closely with management to ensure the prompt, efficient and accurate handling of merchandise.

?  Coaches, counsels and trains team members to ensure performance, as well as, prepare them for future opportunities.

?  Develops and implements team goals.

?  Ensures all safety rules and procedures are followed.

?  Identifies critical planning functions required to support daily operations.

?  Continually look for cost saving methods by improving productivity, safety, damage process, inventory shrinkage and team member turnover.
