A growing supplier of logistic services serving Fortune 500 companies is seeking a self-starting and energetic Project Manager for the Greer, South Carolina area. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain Management. Primary function is to manage start up projects in a 3rd party environment.

 

Primary function of this position is to coordinate the development and implementation of new or existing service contract functions. Reviews specifications to accurately determine resources needed and the adherence to contract specifications. Creates plans that set firm and realistic deadlines for each phase of the project. Coordinates and drives project milestones. Aids in the preparation of contract proposals. Establishes key performance measurements for customer and company performance reports.

 

The ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have effective interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude working in a team-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Candidates must be computer proficient with all Microsoft Office software applications. 

 

Position requires Bachelor?s degree in business. Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation/ logistics functions and plan implementation. ISO preferred, but not required.
