Specific Requirements:
Incoming Inspection:
Performs routine inspections and/or quality audits. Provides assistance with gathering, recording, and maintaining quality specific information. Assists with the preparation of quality records shipping documents and inspection procedures. Responsible for the verification of routine material specifications and data entry. Monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle. Assists in determining material requirements for incoming materials. Performs shipping and receiving functions as required. Responds to inquiries relating to packing lists and shipping instructions. Compiles and maintains records such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or shipped; inputs data into shipping and/or purchasing systems; prepares charts and reports from purchasing-related databases. Participates in inventory audits on a regular basis to detect discrepancies.
Receiving:
Performs routine material receiving functions. Materials delivered are inspected for damage, quantity verified, tagged, and received into the accounting system (SAP).
Shipping:
Performs routine shipping functions. Materials delivered to the shipping area are packed to protect from damage. Ship functions are completed in the accounting system (SAP).

Job Family Responsibilities:
Performs work within technical area of Receiving, Incoming Inspection and Shipping. Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others. Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic knowledge or exposure to SAP is desirable. Participates in accumulating statistical data and performing special research, verification and data gathering projects on request. Participates with Quality Assurance personnel in establishing production requirements for material presented to customers and others. Participates in receiving, processing, recording, coordinating and distributing data.
