Quality Control Clerk

Doherty Employment Group in partnership with a Memphis telecommunications company, is seeking entry level Quality Control Clerks to work in a warehouse environment. In this position you will ensure that the products customers receive have been refurbished to industry and customer standards resulting in a high level of efficiency and quality. 

 

Role/Responsibilities:

? Entry level testing of equipment to ensure functionality of the hardware

? Perform a thorough cleaning of all equipment after it has left the Technical Services Area

? Once inspected, package materials and products manually 

? May stack, separate, count, pack, wrap, and weigh equipment

? Communicate clearly with the employees of the technical staff on concerns and issues where the equipment has not met quality standards

? Escalate experienced failures or quality issues to management

? Investigates quality problems and issues and performs special projects as directed by a Quality Supervisor or Manager

? Maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and continuous quality improvement

? The tasks are subject to change without notice in an effort to achieve the highest level of quality and efficiency within company

 

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or GED required

? Repetitive lifting of 60+ lbs

? Physically able to climb ladders

? Ability to use hand tools is a must

? Knowledge of the following equipment, preferred: Printers, Monitors, POS, Desk Top Processors, Peripherals 

? Mechanical knowledge is a plus

? Shows the ability and willingness to learn the details

? Should be professional in manner, an independent thinker and self-motivated
