Job Description: DRIVER with CDL license

 

*Our branch is seeking a dedicated and customer focused ROUTE SERVICE DRIVER and operator for the Miami and surrounding areas. Every route driver, represents Microshred at our clients place of business. You will be entrusted with collecting all materials to be shredded, according to standards. To load, unload, operate; develop sales;and maintain records.


*You are literally the face of Microshred. From arrival to departure after final clean up of the client's area, your performance must be superior and undertaken with complete regard for confidentiality, courtesy, and environmental consciousness.

 

*The materials with which Microshred's clients trust the ROUTE SERVICE DRIVER are confidential. A driver must be committed to preserving the confidential nature of this materials at all times. All employees are bonded and insured.

 

*You are the face of the Branch. You are sometimes the only Microshred representative to actually meet the client. The impression you make at the clients site is the image that will remain with the client. You must serve customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders.

* Obtains payment by accepting cash or checks.

* Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs.

* Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.

 

*WAREHOUSE HELPER;

 

* Clean and organize warehouse, be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to go on some of site jobs in our trucks to help our drivers.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

*For the drivers position you must possess a valid COMMERCIAL DRIVERS's LiICENSE (CDL) Class B with air brake endorsement. Minimum 3 years driving experience. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. on average.  Drivers lift and carry bags and boxes frequently through the day, therefore, physical fitness and physical strength are essential to the job  of both the driver and the warehouse helper. You must speak fluent English.

 

*You must have above average customer skills and posses the ability to interact with all levels of business clients. You must also be familiar with the Miami, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

 

*ALL EMPLOYEES WILL BE SUBJECT TO A THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK  A DMV DRIVING RECORD AND A DRUG TEST.
