Record Center Specialist (Warehouse Work)

 

Iron Mountain is the Leader in Records and Information Management. We have immediate openings for a Record Center Specialist (Warehouse Associate) in our St. Louis facilities.

This position is responsible for internally servicing the customers by maintaining their inventory through performing record center tasks including retrievals, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and any special projects as requested.

The responsibilities of this position includes:

 Process all incoming media orders including scanning carton/media barcodes and locations, storing items in the warehouse, downloading scanned information, investigating and resolving all exceptions and, closing the order in our internal tracking systems. Process media retrieval orders including pulling the carton/media, verifying items, closing service orders in our internal tracking systems, manifesting all orders, bundling all orders, and preparing for shipment to customer. Process all destruction orders including pulling required carton/media, verifying it for accuracy. Research and resolve discrepancies encountered during above processes and communicate difficult issues or problems to manager. Perform physical activity that includes reaching, lifting, usage of ladders, standing for long periods, and walking. Interact with customers in processing an order for pickup/drop off while following company security protocol.  Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to accomplish the above processes. Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues.


A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
