Refrigerated Distribution Center Manager

As our population has grown, we now seek Refrigerated Distribution Center Manager.

 

The refrigeration Distribution Center Manager will be responsible for: Staffing, organizing, and directing operations within a Refrigerated Distribution Center to effectively manage the receipt, storage, selection, loading, and shipping of products to multiple locations.

 

 

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

 Oversee all DC and logistics activities for a large fast pace Center with multiple shiftOversee the staffing and training of all warehouse associates and material handlers Manage and direct all associates during the day to day performance of their dutiesMeasure, analyze, and optimize the operations to ensure the proper and most cost efficient movement of daily shipments and receiptsEvaluate DC layout and recommend changes as necessary to maintain a cost- efficient operation.

 

Qualifications:

Education Required: High School Diploma

Bachelor?s Degree preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

 Two to five years of Logistics/Distribution management experience involving a small t medium sized Refrigeration Distribution Center.Strong organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skillsWorking knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and inventory softwareOutstanding team skills and ability to lead a diverse workforce to high achievementKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Good mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional mannerDemonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written with all levels of staff and management Knowledge of state and federal regulationsBilingual (Spanish/English)
