Regional Safety Manager - San Bernardino

Brink’s U.S, a Division of Brink’s, Incorporated, the largest and most respected provider of armored and cash management services in the world, is seeking an experienced Regional Safety Manager. This position will report to the Director of Safety and will have safety/compliance responsibility for a multi-state region encompassing the West Coast sectors of the country. The individual we seek must have a broad safety background with significant experience in DOT, OSHA and familiarity with EPA regulations, training and compliance.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Provide professional leadership and support on EHS to line management

- Conduct EHS site audits and provide reports on branch performance

- Review incident investigation and provide guidance on prevention and control of injuries and crashes

- Provide coordination of DOT/Safety Program initiatives throughout the company

- Interface at multiple levels up to senior level management to sell safety and promote a culture of compliance

- Plan and provide safety training



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Minimum five (5) years prior safety management experience with a mid to large-sized organization or insurance company loss prevention experience.

- A BA degree and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is strongly preferred.

- Past employment history of providing excellent safety management/consultation customer service; must be customer service oriented

- High degree of personal integrity and professionalism; a self starter

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong consultative, planning and organization skills

- Strong computer skills in MS Office and Access

- Must be willing to travel up to 60-70% of the time.
