Regional Sales Representative

NAPA Transportation, a leading regional truckload carrier, is seeking a qualified sales representative for the NJ/NY/New England region.  The Sales Representative will be responsible for calling on new and existing customers in their designated region.  The ideal candidate will be a high energy outgoing person willing to travel 65-75% of the time with 1-3 years of sales experience minimum. The position will entail working closely with customers and internal operational teams as the business deems necessary. The position will be located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Salary is commensurate with experience with excellent benefits.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-  Open new accounts in the assigned region.

-  Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.

-  Monitor the satisfaction levels of all customers in assigned region.

-  Work closely with Operations and Upper Management to develop customers that support operational plans.

-  Maintains relationship with load planner, customer service and others to ensure company objectives are being met and aligned.

 

 

Qualifications

-  Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

-  Proven ability to establish new customer relationships.

-  Strong initiative and good work ethic.

-  Ability to function in a fast paced environment effectively and accurately.

-  Must have at least one (1) year of truckload transportation experience.

-  Strong computer skills and attention to details.

-  Ability to identify leads and accounts that are beneficial to current operations.
