Route Delivery Driver - Earn up to $23 an hour

Saladino's Inc. has been in business since 1944. It is a privately owned company based in Fresno, California and employs approximately 300 people. Our service area includes the entire state of California, parts of Nevada, and Idaho.

 

Our company is growing; we have grown 40% over the last three years. We are looking for individuals to join us as we continue to grow. Currently we are looking for the next Driver for our Reno yard.

 

Duties can include, but are not limited to: Drives tractor trailer combinations to deliver product to customers in a timely and accurate manner. Unloads product onto a hand truck and then goes down the ramp (no lift gates). Dates, stocks, and rotates product upon delivery. Collects payment from customer. Completes credit and manifest forms. Picks up backhauls to return to depot as scheduled. Ensures customer has correct product; if not calls dispatch for approval to write credit and relay customer needs for the product. If appropriate, makes sure that customer?s stores are locked and alarm set. Meets or exceeds company productivity standards. Listens to and resolves service complaints. Maintains driver log according to state and federal regulations. Cleans inside of truck upon return to depot. Performs a thorough vehicle pre-trip/post-trip inspection and DVIR. Observes all safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, reports injuries/accidents immediately, uses equipment and materials properly.

 

Requirements: Must posses valid Class A CDL with a clean DMV record; Doubles Endorsement is preferred Good communication skills Good organizational ability Ability to learn and accomplish tasks Ability to analyze information Detail oriented Ability to work flexible hours Ability to work in fast paced environment Good problem solver Good training skills Ability to use computer
