JOB TASKS:

1. Unpackage merchandise

2. Check in merchandise

3. Organize product depending upon intended use

4. Simple maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, hanging chandeliers, making simple furniture repairs, etc

5. Maintaining accurate inventory level

6. Customer service always comes first. Each team member makes certain our customers receive the highest level of service. We always offer to take merchandise out to the customers car, and we walk them out with an umbrella on rainy days.

7. Manage a sewer who tags product

8. Make certain all beds are fluffed and looking close to perfect ALWAYS.

9. Vacuum daily

10. Keep sidewalk outside of store clean (purchase electric blower?)

11. Update Prices, swatches, catalogs

12. All merchandise priced--seek out price immediately after seeing a non-priced product.

13. Special projects completed on time.

14. Lamps lit (only use clear 40 watt bulbs)

15. Trash removed daily

16. Scuff marks removed from wood floor

17. Iron sheet samples and bedding.

18. Make certain all furniture is 'tightly' assembled, i.e. bolts on all beds are tight.

19. Maintain running list of tasks for your department (only necessary when you have someone else working with you), so whenever someone is done with a task they can go to the next without asking you.

20. Restock anything that is not fully stocked on floor.

21. Organize all bath products so they are in perfectly straight lines horizontally and vertically.

22. Inventory Control: maintain accurate inventory and full stock levels. Assess down and sheeting bi-weekly, everything else weekly

COMPENSATION:

$8 to $15 per hour based upon experience.

hand crafted solid cherry furniture from Provence, and
