Saw Operator / Warehouse Worker

SAW OPERATOR (CARPENTERS HELPER) /  WAREHOUSEMAN - KNOXVILLE

 

Piedmont Plastics Inc., a multi-state distributor of plastic sheets, rods and films, is currently seeking to fill a SAW OPERATOR for our KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE location. 

 

The duties for this position will include the operation of heavy saw equipment, layout and cutting plastic material to customer specifications, order pulling, forklift operation, barcoding, loading / unloading materials. Must have good math (tape measure) skills.

 

Prior saw operation / warehouse experience required.  Previous carpenter helper experience would be helpful.  Must have proven math and communication skills. Must be able to work directly with other members of the Piedmont team to help coordinate and expedite orders. Must have high energy for this busy position. 

 

This position is full time day shift, Monday through Friday.  Competitive hourly wage will be based on prior experience.
