Senior Operations Managers Inbound & Outbound

We are in need of a seasoned Operations Manager.




Provide leadership and direction for all Inbound and Outbound functions in a fast paced same day shipping environment.  Responsible for timely and accurate receipt of product as well as put away and inventory.  Ensuring orders are accurately picked and packed. Supervision of up to 120 exempt and non-exempt personnel.Hiring, coaching and discipline of staff.  Accountable for the productivity and accuracy of all Inbound Functions.  In addition keep DC Manager informed on a daily basis and have the ability to fill in as acting manager from time to time.

 

Must understand the urgency of maintaining very tight shipping deadlines and meet those deadlines on a daily basis.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 7 years management experience in a distribution environment, strong knowledge of warehousing operations and personnel management.  In addition very strong leadership and communication skills are required.  Knowledge of WMS and RF.  The ability to adapt to fluctuating volumes and the understanding that meeting customer's expectations are vital to the success of these positions.
