Position Overview:
As the nation?s leading provide of office products we continue to expand at an unprecedented pace and are in need of a dynamic Senior Transportation Manager in our New Orleans distribution center to direct our small package delivery operation.

This position is responsible for the following:
? Second level management of small package delivery service provided by our 3PL carriers, LTL and private fleet to end user customers in a high volume, delivery environment
? Managing other managers in the oversight of all aspects of standard operating procedures, functional enhancements, training programs and 3PL requirements
? P&L responsibilities for all carrier modes
? Management of carrier mode service levels and cargo claims
? Tracking and evaluation of on time delivery, service quality and cost control


Job Requirements:
? Bachelors degree or 10 years relevant (e.g. logistics, warehouse operations, transportation) work experience in progressively challenging positions
? Prior work experience managing other managers, A MUST!!!
? Proven success record tracking performance in a metrics driven work environment
? Prior experience leading transportation operations, small package delivery preferred
? Excellent communication, motivation, negotiation and leadership/management skills
