Service Planner-Dock Supervisor

As a Service Planner you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and engaging freight handling professionals to insure daily work plans are met and customer's freight arrives on time, on schedule and undamaged.? You will assess needs, plan and conduct training for your team as well as monitor, prioritize and direct work flow.? Planning of Time Critical shipments, schedule management and Time Critical communication including tracking, updates and follow-ups.? Handle driver planning, rail planning and the management of sleeper teams.? Dock planning involves managing manpower, equipment, strip prioritizing and leading.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:College Degree or Minimum of 3-5 years of successful team leader experienceProven track record of achievement in your previous/current position.Willingness to relocate for promotional opportunitiesBe willing to work a non-traditional schedule


This position offers a starting annual salary base of $44,000 to $54,000 depending upon experience with an annual incentive bonus potential of $4,760 depending upon company and individual performance.? We also offer medical and dental benefits, 401K and an employer paid pension program.
