Our client is a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and marketer of footwear for men, women and children. As one of Colorado?s fastest growing, publicly traded companies, our client makes footwear ideal for casual wear, as well as for recreational uses such as boating, hiking, fishing and gardening. The ideal candidate for the Shipping Manager position is detail oriented, extremely organized and can take initiative while maintaining operational excellence within the shipping department. The position is responsible for day-to-day operations and quality assurance. This position requires the ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast paced environment. In addition, strong distribution background in a high volume, high growth shipping environment required.

 

Description: Responsible for day-to-day shipping warehouse Ensure daily demand is met Focus on quality assurance Organize and maintain warehouse environment Assist Global Operations Manager in all aspects of operations Make recommendations on policies and procedures of the warehouse Manage 3 Supervisors and have responsibility for staff of 80 ? 100 people

 

Skill Sets:Creative Organized with strong attention to detail Flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Positive attitude and a team player Strong supervisory and managerial skills

 

Qualifications: Four year degree from college or university required 8 years experience Strong writing skills Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementations 6 Sigma and 5S competency Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Familiarity with an ERP system


Salary: Commensurate with experience. Exceptional bonus and benefit plan.
