Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our warehouse in Houston, TX.

 

You will be responsible for performing manual work relating to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies in the warehouse. Specific duties will include verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders; comparing identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records; Recording shipment data, including weight, charges and space availability; receiving and unpacking materials and supplies, verifying that materials received are as ordered; reporting damages and discrepancies for invoicing/billing and record-keeping purposes; and receiving and unpacking materials and supplies.

 

Requirements include 2-3 years of work experience in shipping and receiving or warehousing function (experience handling drilling, production and other oilfield equipment preferred); CDL and certification as a fork lift operator; basic knowledge of goods or materials in storeroom or warehouse environment; understanding of inventory principles and practices; and basic computer skills with Microsoft applications. High school diploma or equivalent  and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
