Diebold Election Systems has an opening for a Shipping and Packaging Lead located in Everett, WA.  This position is responsible for day to day operation of production finishing work and shipping operations for Everett Print facility.  Will process all shipments in and out of facility as directed by the Production Manager or Shift Leads during major production operations.  Will develop and maintain a regular maintenance plan on all finishing equipment.  In addition, will oversee all members of the temporary labor force during major production cycles.  Responsible for coordination of all shipping and receiving activities, as well as inventory control of materials and spares for production operations supporting the Production Manager.  The lead will also develop and maintain documentation for packaging and finishing work.  Train and educate temporary labor on quality control and job functions during major election cycles.  Assist Production Manager with research on cost reduction and review of alternate lean management solutions.  Perform other duties as directed by the Production Manager.

GED or High School Diploma preferred

Previous experience with packaging equipment.

Ability to drive a forklift.

Will have to be able to lift 25 lbs or more.

Experience training and supervising 5 to 10 temp staff at a time.
