Shop Manager Gray Line Of Seattle
NATURE & SCOPE : Responsible for maintaining repair facility and transportation fleet to meet company demands and needs at any given time. Project cost of maintaining facility and transportation fleet to present for annual budget. Responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified personnel to meet company standards. Track cost and expense to meet goals set in annual budget. Plans, evaluates, repairs, and services transportation fleet. Reviews work orders and parts used during repair and service of equipment to determine efficient use of hours and parts put into a piece of equipment. Negotiate cost effective prices from vendors. Manages the repair of buildings, grounds and shop equipment. Enforces company policies and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
.
? Minimum of a High School education.
? At least five years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics.
? Good organizational, management, planning and communication skills.
? Supervisory experience in a shop setting.
? Able to repair and maintain a variety of equipment (gas & diesel engines) and have a valid driver?s license. CDL license preferred.
? Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
