Shop Supervisor-2nd Shift

Primary Position Objective: Provide timely and cost efficient maintenance and support to customer base. Supervise, schedule and assign the repairs of all support personnel. Assist the Service Manager with the day-to-day management of the maintenance team and facility. Duties include but are not limited to the following:



a. Conduct equipment & branch safety inspections

b. Manage basic troubleshooting

c. Supervise all repair inspection, troubleshooting and component

replacement.

d. Account for all labor time with electric time keeping

e. Account for parts consumed on proper repair order line 100% time.

f. Conduct regular yard checks

g. Conduct physical inventory to include reconciliation

h. Account for 100% of warranty activity, file warranty claims

i. Close and approve repair orders

j. Coordinate with parts support personnel to effect timely re-supply of

materials.

k. Operate Company Forklift

l. Conduct general clean up as required

m. Customer & branch communication

n. Safety Communication, Administration & Training

o. Service Link diagnosis

p. Conduct & coordinate Mobile Maintenance as required

q. Manage company sub units efficiently.

r. Assist Branch in obtaining all profitability objectives.

s. Conduct company discipline program as required.

t. Serve as Branch Service Manager in absence of Service Manager.



Position Requirements:



a. Class B Technical Experience

b. Individual Tools

c. Physical Requirements as specified

d. Strong Communication Skills (English oral and written skills)

e. Computer skills

f. Lead By Example

g. Ability to count, add and subtract

h. Valid Class A Driver?s License with clean MVR

i. Legible penmanship

j. Reliable transportation

k. Obtain and maintain 90% efficiency and 85% productivity rating.

l. Conduct Weekly Safety Training

m. Conduct on site Mobile Maintenance as required
