Sr Analyst, Project

Summary Plans and administers work on large projects having a significant business or global impact on the organization. Develops high level and detailed project plans and budgets; directs team members in the completion of assignments; identifies and resolves key barriers/problems; monitors and tracks progress and implementation of plans to ensure desired results.

Tasks & Accountabilities
Implements and administers effective planning, budgeting, and project proposal systems. Prepares timely and actionable analyses, forecasts, and recommendations for assigned projects to ensure achievement of business objectives. Provides consistent and accurate research, information, and analysis to the project manager. Develops and follows appropriate processes and procedures for accomplishing work. Participates in project team meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss issues, direction, and implementation strategies and to solicit new viewpoints. Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project team members and other key stakeholders by establishing and maintaining regular communication. Communicates project progress and status to management. May assist in developing project deliverables. Meets with customers and prospects to understand unique needs and to follow the progress of their plans. May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less experienced project analysts.

Skills & Qualifications
Seasoned professional. Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives. State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 8-11 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 5-7 years experience in related field. Professional certification required in some areas.
