Stockroom Expeditor

Applied Industrial Technologies, with more than 440 facilities and over 4,400 employee associates across North America, is seeking a motivated, customer focuse Stockroom Expeditor.  We are hiring for the following location:

  Minneapolis, MN.

 

Applied Industrial Technologies offers more than 2 million parts critical to the operations of customers in virtually every industry including food and beverage, petroleum, automotive, pulp & paper, mining, aggregate, and maintenance and repair. In addition, Applied provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial and fluid power applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber and fluid power shop services.

 

As a Stockroom Expeditor you will perform a variety of duties required to ship and/or receive parts, materials and supplies; and maintain stock areas.  Duties include:

? Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock areas; prepare sales orders; stock, and supplies.

? Work from purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, sales orders, service center requests, written and verbal instructions.  Receive and examine condition of deliveries; indicate acceptance or note discrepancies on bill of lading.  Check and match packing slip with purchase order.

? Assist as necessary in inventory taking, counter sales, order pulling, answering phone or paperwork processing.

 Driver/ Stockroom Expeditor Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent plus basic math aptitude and the ability to apply mechanical principles to address customer needs is required.  Position requires accuracy in counting, checking, recording.Position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
