DEPARTMENT: Material Management



SCHEDULE: Short-Hour; 4 hours min per pay period; variable shift; scheduled days and hours vary; may include Sunday thru Saturday; 6:00am to 11:00pm



EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED



LICENSE: Valid California Drivers License.

POSITION SUMMARY: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products as required



QUALIFICATIONS: Six months experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization. Also refer to Position Specifications outlined in the appropriate collective bargaining agreement. Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.

DUTIES: Receives, unloads supplies, material and equipment. Unpacks items received and verifies accuracy of shipment. Delivers supplies and equipment and obtains appropriate signatures from receiving department. Maintains a clean and orderly work place. May use forklifts, hand trucks, panel trucks and other equipment. Uses automated and manual systems in the above processes. Performs other related duties as necessary. Supervisory
