Supervisor - Distribution Center

CVS/pharmacy, a Fortune 100 Company, has an outstanding career opportunity for a supervisor on Evening Shift in our Indianapolis, Indiana distribution center.
Schedule and assign work to employees. Provide necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks.
Maintain positive employee relations.
Determine proper staffing levels within functional area based on the volume and type of work to be completed daily.
Ability to make effective business decisions based on macro-level understanding of the Distribution center
Maintain a balanced workload by taking readings throughout the day, and by readjusting the staffing levels, as necessary, to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion.
Focuses efforts on enhancing service to stores, taking steps to ensure extraordinary customer service
Monitor the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded. Provide ongoing training/retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function.
Possess the ability to utilize a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday.
Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
Possess ability to adapt and drive change management, to improve one?s business and personal performance
Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
Operate in a safe, neat, and orderly manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager.


Requirements:


2 to 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently.
Ability to complete assignments within established timelines.
Ability to complete work assignments under general supervision.
Prefer Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field.
PC Skills; working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook software. Basic knowledge of Access and PowerPoint are a plus
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
