 Description


GENCO has an immediate opening for an Operations Supervisor at our Fulfillment Center in Sparks, NV. The facility is 295,000 sq. ft. responsible for the fulfillment, Pick/pack/ship, of publisher's orders to chain stores. Sparks is located in Reno/Lake Tahoe, northern Nevada area.

The position is responsible for:
Supervising teammatesAssuming safe attainment of facility quality and performance objectivesFacilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environmentTraining and updating teammates on job functions/proceduresPreparing and reconciling required production and inventory reportsProviding assistance to the Operations/Facility Managers on special projects as required


 Required Skills



The successful candidate will have:
1-3 years experience in a supervisory capacityBS/BA or equivalent work experience preferredMust have excellent communication skills, both written and oralExcellent organizational and analytical skillsPrioritization and problem solving skills essentialDemonstrated knowledge and user experience with Excel, Access, E-Mail, and Word DocumentsPrevious WMS/RF or related experience is preferredMust have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
