Responsible for delivering supplies to patient care areas in an efficient, accurate, and punctual manner. Responsible for stocking and restocking the storeroom, picking, and staging orders. Perform the functions necessary to accurately pick and deliver products to the end user. Stock Supply scan units as needed. Take carts to the receiving dock by the allotted time frame. Ensure paper work is attached to all product discrepancies before delivering to the dock. Upkeep on signage in Supply Scan units. Cycle count units each morning . Separate orders by department as they are delivered from the dock. Sort and stage products for delivery utilizing 1st in 1st out method. Ensure all orders are delivered to the end user the day they are received. Ensure Delivery Documents are signed and Supply Tech has initialed when returned. Maintains a neat and orderly work area
Assist in maintaining the security of the distribution area and its contents

Education or Equivalent:
Twelve to eighteen months' experience working with patient care supplies, hospital or industrial warehouse, distribution or inventory control environment is preferred. High School graduate or GED required. Some college is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
" Possesses mathematical ability for unit of measure conversions.
" Demonstrates good customer service skills.
" Good written and verbal communication skills.
" Ability to learn and expand knowledge, skills and abilities within Materials Management in a short period of time is required.
" Knowledge of healthcare related supplies, products and equipment.
" Organizational skills and attention to detail.
" Basic computer experience is preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
" Good physical health required, and is able to constantly walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 60 pounds correctly. Must be able to stand on feet 6 to 8 hours a day.
" Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.
" Must be able to make decisions independently and in a timely manner.
" Must have ability to continually prioritize work tasks.
" Must be able to carry out aspects of the job with little to no supervision.
" Must be able to use problem-resolution skills to recognize and investigate unusual occurrences and results.
