CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION PURPOSE

To effectively solicit and schedule freight from a customers reporting in a specific region of the U.S. To utilize our equipment in the most profitable manner on a daily basis. To maintain contact and rapport with the customers. To achieve exceptional customer service.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

? Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

? 1 ? 2 years work experience, transportation industry or sales preferred.

? Successful completion Customer Service Training program.

? Ability to type 25-30 words per minute.

? Ability to communicate by phone and in person effectively and professionally.

? Ability to manage time effectively;

? Ability to work well under stress.

? Ability to develop positive customer relationships.

CAPACITY MANAGER

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is accountable to manage a fleet of designated drivers and tractors, maintain relationships with the Dispatch and Customer Service personnel to insure company goals are met. In addition, this position is accountable to manage driver/tractor uptime and make capacity availability, manage driver performance and promote safe operations.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

? Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a two year degree.

? 5+ years in?depth high volume field operational experience.

? Superior analytical, communication and interpersonal skills: Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills.

? Extreme patience dealing with explosive situations: flawless follow-up procedures.

? Comprehensive knowledge of regulations impacting daily operations. (DOT ? national and state)

? Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

? Strategic thinker with proven leadership skills.

LOAD PLANNER

POSITION PURPOSE

To match the right load to the right truck, maximizing utilization and equipment usage, while minimizing deadhead and dwell time.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

? Strong background in customer service and fleet operations

? Computer literate, leadership, planning, geographically versed, strong teamwork and communication skills

? Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

? Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a transportation related field such as customer service and/or fleet operations

DISPATCHER

POSITION PURPOSE

Insuring freight booked within assigned region is serviced to customer requirements while keeping with the operating goals and plans of company.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

? Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

? Ability to understand hours of service and how they apply to a driver.

? Ability to be a self starter and show a sense of urgency with regards to this business.

? Fleet Operations experience or Log Department experience preferred.

? AS-400 and Microsoft Outlook Experience required.
