COMPANY BACKGROUND

Cassidy?s Express, Inc. is a family owned and operated Trucking, Distribution and Warehousing Company in Bristol, PA since 1982, which is approximately 30 miles North of Philadelphia, PA.

 

DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

Inspect the conditions of the vehicles and equipment assigned, and ensures correct loading of the cargo to ensure safety and prevent any damage to the cargo.

Make a maximum effort to be at scheduled time appointments and informs dispatch of any problems.

Maintains safe vehicle conditions, protects load and conserves company resources.

Completes and submits neat DOT and company required forms (DIR?s, Logs, Manifest, etc.) on time.

Must be capable of understanding and following directions, reading maps, DOT regulations, etc.

Keeps tractor interiors clean and orderly and inspect trailers for their serviceability and cleanliness.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified drivers must have a minimum of 2 years of Tractor/Trailer  driving experience with a clean, valid Class 'A' CDL.

Must be at least 23 years of age and can perform medium physical work, loading and unloading freight.

A previous employer?s background checks, which is considered and reviewed in the hiring process.

Must pass a company driver test and if offered a job, must pass the prescribed DOT drug and physical tests before starting.

Participates in the random DOT drug and alcohol-testing programs.

Must be able to work scheduled hours and/or notify dispatch of any special personal time requirement.

Communication: - each driver will carry a NEXTEL, GPS cellular unit with VOICE and text messaging capabilities to inform dispatch of any delays that will effect time of any delivery or pick-up.

Provides a positive representation of the company by demonstrating safe, responsible driving practices.

Knows how to properly address and interface with a customer, realizing that a driver represents our company at all times.

Should be a self-starter, a team player and will follow company policies and procedures.

Should have excellent customer relation skills and mannerisms to develop our business.

Present a proper appearance and attire at all times while on company business.
