Tire Technician

Tire Technician



Jevic Transportation, Inc., a premier LTL carrier, is seeking a Tire Technician to work at our Concord, NC facility.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:



Conduct yard check inspections and locate defects in need of repair



Change damaged or worn tires as required



Complete vehicle alignments



Complete brake and suspension system repairs



Repair damaged tires



Complete Repair Orders and other required documents





To join our team, the successful candidate must possess the following skills:



Must have 2-3 years tire repair experience including replacing tires



Class "A" CDL is a plus.



Must be able to do some heavy lifting (75 - 100 lbs.).



Must be able to frequently perform carrying of tires weighing up to 100+ pounds a distance of at least 1 foot but not usually more than 50 feet



Must have basic hand tools and be available to work second or third shift including weekends.
