Traffic Coordinator

FFr (ffr.com) is a leader in high-impact merchandising systems and accessories.  We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator to add to our team.

 

Position Title: Traffic Coordinator

 

Job Function: 

 

?  To provide assistance to all Traffic related functions including carrier routing, price quotes, audits and shipping documentation.

 

Key Duties: 

 

?  Provide freight quotes to customer service.

?  File freight claims for parcel, LTL and Truck Load carriers.

?  Assisting in routing customer orders

?  Process secondary audits of freight bills

?  Assist with shipment tracking and POD requests

?  Type documents and process forms i.e. credit memos, bar codes, load tags, airway bills, drop shipments NAFTA, CERT?s, e-commerce information and ship date requests, etc.

?  Update Wal-Mart PRO # spreadsheets

?  Update routing guides in E-Wix and routing binders

?  Process BirdDog lost package statements

?  Assist with special projects

?  Backup Traffic Manager

?  Assist operations and other departments with administrative support on an ?as-needed? basis.

 

Position Qualifications: 

 

?  High school diploma required - college degree a plus.

?  3 to 5 years prior freight administration/management experience

?  Strong knowledge of international shipping

?  Basic understanding of LTL tariffs

?  Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.

?  Proficient computer skills using word processing and spreadsheet applications required (Microsoft Office Products).

?  Highly accurate and detail-oriented, including proofreading skills.  Team oriented.

?  Ability to manage and handle confidential information.

?  Customer service oriented.

?  This position is not exempt from overtime.

?  Demonstrate appropriate level of productivity and efficiency.

?  Excellent attendance. Time management.

?  Amount of data (and accuracy) in production/purchasing reports.

?  Expediting of correspondence and forms.

?  Proper phone etiquette in a professional, quick and accurate manner.
