Traffic Supervisor

Ace Hardware's Princeton, Ill. Retail Support Center conveniently located on I-80 at the Princeton exit, is a 1.2 million square foot-500 team member-innovative -non-union -distribution facility seeking a talented professional Traffic Supervisor. The schedule for this position is normally 5:30am to 3:00pm.

The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise over 50 drivers in Ace store delivery and non store-delivery and back hauls maximizing asset utilization, while maintaining quality service to Ace retailers. Additional responsibilities include providing driver safety and operational training including performance reviews. Evaluating preventive maintenance schedules and vehicle condition reports are key responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional transportation experience,proven supervisory and leadership skills, demonstrated abilitiy to manage a large fleet, effective interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, positive team oriented employee relation skills, and PC literacy.
