Transportation Heavy Haul Permit/Project Coordinator

Miller Transfer, a leader in providing specialized heavy haul transportation services is seeking to recruit a "Permit/Project Coordinator" for our Edinburg Ohio office.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

* Obtaining permits for super loads and oversized shipments

* Operational and management reporting duties for our Heavy Haul department

* Scheduling escorts, state police, and Department of Transportation escorts.

* Visiting State Department of Transportation Offices.

 

This individual should have the following education, skills and abilities:

 

*  Highly movtivated individual with diligent work ethic

 *Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills

*  Experience in project management along with demonstrated knowledge

in transportation; Heavy Haul permitting process a plus

*  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

 *  Extremely organized and detail oriented

*  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

 *  Ability to maintain organized and accurate project records/files

 *Logistics degree - would be a plus!
