Vice President of Regulatory Compliance

Carolina Logistics Services (CLS) is the industry leader in providing technology-driven reverse logistics and supply chain solutions to the consumer packaged goods, automotive, footwear, hardware, and healthcare markets.  We are a rapidly growing company based in North Carolina.

 

CLS is seeking a Vice President of Regulatory Compliance to provide leadership and establish cooperative efforts with agencies such as the DEA, DOT, EPA, FDA, OSHA, and USDA and develop and implement standard processes and procedures for regulatory operations and compliance activities in approximately 40 warehouse locations across the United States.  This is a newly created position and will require a talented and experienced person who can develop a strong regulatory department and  drive change in this area.  The position reports to the President of CLS and will be a member of the senior leadership team. 



Candidate requirements are:

? Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive Regulatory Compliance Program and Department

? Ability to establish a working relationship and communicate with local state, and federal regulators

? Ability to oversee and manage warehouse audit processes

? Ability to research and implement best practices for regulatory compliance and the warehouse industry

? Ability to maintain knowledge of all applicable legislation, codes of practice, and industry guidelines.

? Ability to travel up to 50%

? 10+ years of senior level experience in a business environment

? 4+ years of regulatory compliance experience dealing with EPA and/or DEA issues

? Experience in logistics or warehouse industry

? B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college or university is required.
