Feather Custom Furnishings is a fast paced company in North Scottsdale that caters to affluent residential homes specializing in custom-upholstered furnishings, drapery, bedding, and accessories. Feathers will be moving its location into a new 16,000 square foot showroom, which will bring an increase in business and opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTIONMaintain stock in an organized fashion on showroom floor and warehouse. Unload and process incoming stock, properly document all items for inventory, processes all necessary documentation, and inspects all items received. Load merchandise and orders that need delivery to our client which includes properly packing merchandise to ensure adequate protection. Maintains all warehouse equipment, schedule routine maintenance as needed. Move, store, and transfer materials, supplies, and merchandise in and about warehouse, loading dock, and showroom floor. Maintain warehouse in a clean and safe condition. Assists on showroom floor and installations at client locations that can range from packing/unpacking, moving furniture and accessories, and any other duties that present itself. Exceptional customer services skills are a must at all times. Assist in controling inventory levels by participating in conducting physical counts. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as they occur. Able to follow detailed verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Able to identify problems and offer alternative solutions or courses of action based on available resources. Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Demonstrate dependable, on-time performances. Able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis. Perform other duties as assigned.
