WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

 



The Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility of managing the day-to-day warehouse operations and those employees directly involved in the receiving, storing and distribution of Leed?s products.

 

DUTIES:

? Monitor departmental and individual performance and provide appropriate feedback, encouragement, and discipline when necessary in order to facilitate department improvements and control.

?  Responsible for dept activities in both Whse 02 and 03

?  Ensure product is being transferred between Warehouses in a timely fashion

?  Managing day-to-day operations in receiving, mrp, transfers, Inventory clear and blank / over seas order fulfillment.

?  Monitoring and improving the inventory control process in the warehouse

?  Managing drivers and delivery/pickups in the local area.

?  Maintain and control the FIFO in the Warehouse

?  Improve the integrity of the racking locations

?  Supervising hourly employees

?  Provide Human Resources support by involvement in interviewing, hiring, monitoring absenteeism, tardiness, time cards, etc.

?  Oversee and improve staff morale through positive example and a solution-oriented approach toward problem solving.

?  Assist with other cross-functional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:



?  Background in basic computer skills is a plus.

?  Good communication skills required.

?  Strong organizational skills.

?  Ability to handle multiple task and priorities.

?  Problem solving ability.

?  Good judgment and quick, comprehensive decision making skills.

?  Have a good sense of urgency

?  Capable of supervising, coaching and motivating departmental staff members.

 

 

?  High School or Equivalent
