Second Shift 1:00 pm to 9:30 PM; No Weekends

 

$250 Bonus after 6 months; $500 after one Year

Primary responsibilities Manage the outbound shipping process (customer service, transportation, productivity)Work with warehouse associates to ensure that productivity goals and daily timelines are met.  This position requires physical labor and the supervisor will be working with associates daily within the warehouse.  Establish and manage workflow to ensure all operational, safety, and housekeeping procedures are maintained.Create process improvements and SOPs as well as collaborate with other facilities? initiatives and best practices.Analyze data to maximize quality and productivity and establish measurements for each function.Ensure that all quality standards are met consistently as well as recommend and implement process improvements when necessary.Supervise a staff of up to 10 associates in all areas of warehouse operations and associate relations.Some travel may be required (less than 5%).Requires physical labor and the ability to operate all warehouse machinery.  The supervisor is required to be on the floor working with associates throughout the day.  Warehouse is not climate controlled.

 

Desired Experience/QualificationsThree to five years of warehouse experience in a fast paced and high intensity environment; minimum two years leadership experienceBachelor?s Degree preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of warehouse safety practices Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Ability to work effectively within a team and as a team leaderAttention to detail, organized, efficient, and deadline driven.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to train associates on safety, operations, and general warehouse procedures including all machinery.Creative problem solver and change agentCommitment to quality and continuous improvementInteracts well with all levels of associates
