Warehouse Distribution Supervisors (Two positions)

Dal-Tile?s Eldersburg, Maryland Distribution Center is in need of two (2) Warehouse Distribution Supervisors.An Order Processing Supervisor is needed to oversee our second shift and third shift operation; the second shift hours are 1:00PM to 9:30PM and the third shift hours are 9:00PM to 5:30AM, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts required.  Responsibilities include the following.  

Major Functions Include: Manage the daily work schedules of up to 30 warehouse employees. Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure production goals are achieved. Partner with other members of the management team to provide direction and guidance to employees. Ensure associate needs meet all established standards for safety, productivity, accuracy, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping. Audit the process to ensure quality standards are met. Evaluate, select and train new employees. Coach, train and review performance of direct reports. Performs other duties as required.

 

Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree highly preferred, but those with an Associates degree plus 3 or more years experience will be considered. 

? Working knowledge of all warehouse, distribution, transportation and logistics related functions.

? Core competencies include strong communication and leadership skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

? Ability to train, motivate and coach employees.

? Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

? Must be proficient in MS Excel.

? Strong planning, administrative, and organizational skills are needed for success
